FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have any wedding flower packages?
I don’t. All my work is bespoke - it’s inspired by everything you tell me and show me. I prefer to work this way so that I can design and create wedding florals which are uniquely yours …and truly a reflection of your spirit and personality.
Do you have a particular style as a wedding florist?
As a highly trained and fully qualified advanced florist I have a knowledge and skill set which enables me to create anything you’d like. But, that said, I prefer to work seasonally, reflecting the rhythm of the natural world, and will always recommend choosing the flowers which are at their most beautiful when your wedding takes place.
Do I need to know what’s in season and the names of flowers for my wedding?
Not at all. That’s my job!! One of the first questions I ask is “When are you getting married?” …because it’s the ‘when’ which tells me what flowers will be available and at their best. I’ll name them for you and send photographs so that you can see what I’m talking about.
What do you need to know before you can give me a quotation for wedding flowers?
I need to know where and when your wedding will be and what you might have in mind. It doesn’t matter if you don’t yet know how many bridesmaids you’ll have, or how many buttonholes you’ll need - I can price them individually so that you can calculate the cost once you know. If you know what floral arrangements you’d like for your wedding and reception venue - great! …but I’m more than happy to make some suggestions if you don’t. There are so many beautiful options and the arrangements you eventually choose might be something that had never occurred to you!
Do I need to know my budget for wedding flowers before I get in touch with you?
I realise you might have no idea what to budget for your wedding flowers and that you might need a quotation at an early part of the planning process to help you work out your budget - and that’s absolutely fine. If you have a good idea of your budget for flowers when you first get in touch then all the better but it really is ok if you don’t.
What’s included in your prices for wedding flowers?
My prices include delivery of the bouquets and buttonholes to the bride on the morning of the wedding, and delivery and set up of all the floral arrangements at your wedding venue. If you’re having a church wedding I like to create as many as possible of your floral arrangements at the church the day before the wedding. The same is true at your wedding venue but getting in the day before the wedding isn’t always possible and I can work around that. My prices also include collection of all the containers once the celebrations are over.
Do I need to make arrangements with my wedding venue for my florist?
No. When you confirm your booking, I’ll ask for the name of your contact at the wedding venue and make all arrangements directly with them.
Can we move the floral arrangements from the ceremony to the reception?
Yes!! Absolutely!! And I’ll stay to do that for you so that I can make sure your floral arrangements are still looking their best.
