Shantili and George’s Wedding
The Matara Centre, The Cotswolds
Shantili and George live in New Zealand and they asked for fresh, spring-like bouquets and arrangements which featured the orchids Shantili adores, Ikebana-style table arrangements, and pew ends, created with ferns and eucalyptus, to decorate the aisle.
So ….I combined magnificent orchids with fabulous kloon ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus and double lisinathus, and added delicate alliums and stems of chaenomeles to create sumptuous bouquets for Shantili, her mum and bridesmaid, and designed delicate table arrangements in hand-crafted dishes. The result was a wonderful fusion of cultures and climates which was completely at home in Matara!
